Why is there a need for guns to be stored securely? The facts and statistics I found today knocked me for six. Just think about these figures.
- 341,000 firearms are stolen each year in the US.
- 8 Firearms are produced by US manufacturers every minute!
- 62% of Americans feel the laws covering the sale of firearms should be made more strict.
- 223 MILLION firearms in the US in 1995.
- Over 13,000 murders in the US in 1995 using a firearm.
- 4 Americans killed EVERY HOUR!
There is two options that come to mind.
- Don’t own a gun
- If you own a gun, then store it in a gun safe
It’s so easy and also so lazy to store a gun under the bed, in the dresser, in the closet, underneath your pillow, in your pants packet etc..
