We all want our plants to look the best and sometimes we have to give our plants a good start due to the constant fluctuations in weather and climate. How can we do this? Hydroponics using grow lights is by far the best advantage you can give your plants for them to grow in full health.
All plants need nutrients of various types to survive and continue to grow. The main plant nutrients required is sunlight. Grow lights give off light similar to natural sunlight but without the other elements such as wind, hail, snow etc…
Some of the different types of lights available for this purpose are Metal Halide - MH lights and High Pressure Sodium - HPS lights. Metal Halide lights can offer up to 125 lumens per watt. The High Pressure Sodium can produce up to 140 lumens per watt. The power needed depends on the type or amount of plants you need hydroponics lighting for.
