When it comes to financing a small business, it’s important to have a clear idea of what it is you want in terms of rewards and privileges. I recently visited Creditorweb.com to compare credit card offers for Advanta Credit Cards.

Creditorweb keeps an updated feed of current offerings from Advanta. This time I narrowed my selection to the following 2 cards:

Advanta Platinum BusinessCard With Rewards

• 0% APR for 15 months on balance transfers, 7.99% fixed APR thereafter
• 7.99% Variable APR on purchases
• Choice of 5% cash back or travel rewards
• No annual fee and no limit on earnings
• $0 fraud liability
• Personalized with company name at top of card

and

Advanta Life of Balance Platinum Card

• 2.99% fixed APR for life on balances transferred within 3 months, 9.99% on new purchases
• Choice of 6% cash back or travel rewards
• No annual fee and no limit on earnings
• $0 fraud liability
• Personalized with company name at top of card

Both cards also offer additional 1% rebate on online purchases. Since I’m looking to save interest immediately on a large purchase I recently made, I chose the Platinum With Rewards based on the 0% APR for 15 months. If interest rates were to rise above 7.99%, I could always apply for a separate business credit card for purchases.
