Finding Games for the Mac

Wednesday, February 14th, 2007

When I got an Apple Macbook as Christmast gift, at first was enthusiast. Very neat, polished, fast! But then, I had hard time finding good mac games! I checked various mac sites online but could find only the usual boring casual stuff like match3 and so on <yawn>.

So I started to do some researching for my kind of games, like rpg games, boxing games or soccer games and finally found a great site called Winter Wolves. I was very pleased with their games catalog, very original and fun, with free trials so I was absolutely sure of what I was buying. I would recommend anyone that just has bought a mac to check it, if you are looking for "different" kind of games.

Screen Capture Software, Make Screenshots

Sometimes we can get very frustrated with software, web browsers and applications on our computers and understandably so! What do we do about it? We ring the Help Desk or Support section for the manufacturer of whatever we are frustrated with. Even worse, we ring a friend or an associate and hopefully they can go through the hours of running us through various procedures that has worked for them.

Wouldn’t be much easier if you could use screen capture so they could see the error messages that was coming up on your desktop from time to time? Yes! The easiest way to do that is via Easy Screen Capture 2.0. Armed with this screen capture software we can now take a nice screenshot of the problem and email it to whoever will help us to fix the problem.

What’s great about this application is you can edit captured images and saved to the most popular file types. You can add text annotation, arrows, shapes and other objects to create professional screenshots for inclusion in online tutorials, Word documents, manuals, promotion material, presentations, websites, emails and so on.

Just think of the ramifications trying to reconcile accounts with thousands of customers. It would take years to get things back on track.

Other things that can go wrong in a major way is data loss on your hard drives. To ensure you don’t lose any data it would be a wise thing to have Data Recovery Software installed. In fact there is available Free Data Recovery Software from many places online.

If you have Windows XP Data Recovery problems you can recover all files with the recover wizard. Open Backup so the Backup Utility wizard starts by default, unless it is disabled. Follow the wizard instructions to select what to recover, where to recover to, and which optional advanced recover features you want. If the wizard is disabled, click the Welcome tab, click Recover Wizard to start the recover wizard.
